The present user manual has been created to explain YMPULSE -DYME's newly introduced functionality to allow users to maintain dealer shops.
...
There are two security options available for dealer locator:
- ShopsShop Maintenance: for users that are allowed to view, create, edit and delete dealer shops.
- DealersDealer Maintenance: for users that are allowed to maintain dealer information.
...
This new menu option has been created in YMPULSE -D YME so that users can maintain dealer information:
After clicking on the "Dealers > Dealer Maintenance" menu, the Dealer Maintenance screen will be displayed:
The dealer list will display all of the dealers associated to the current user's distributor number. The user will be able to edit dealer information directly in the table. The available editable fields are: Dealer Name and Status. After changes are made to dealer information, the Save Changes button will be enabled.
...
To create a new dealer record, there is a Create Dealer button at the top of the screen. When pressed, a pop-up screen will be displayed so that the user will be able to enter information for the new dealer. The Dealer Number will be generated automatically by YMPULSE -D YME and will not be editable.
After completing dealer information, the user can press the OK Save button to be taken back to the Dealer Maintenance screen.
...
To change the status of a dealer, click on the Status column for the appropriate dealer. The following pop-up will be displayed:
To activate the dealer, click on the Active button. To inactivate the dealer, click on the Inactive button. To return to the Dealer Maintenance screen without making any changes to dealer status, click on the Cancel Back to Overview button.
Important:
- Inactivating a dealer record will set the shop end date for all of the dealer shops associated to the dealer to the current date. Meaning that the shops associated to the dealer will also become inactive. Shops belonging to inactive dealers cannot be re-activated until the corresponding dealer becomes active again.
- When an inactive dealer is re-activated, his shops do NOT become active again automatically. Each shop will have to be activated individually by updating the Shop End Date.
After making changes to dealer information, click on the Save Changes button button.

In order to visualize inactive shops, there is an "Inactive" checkbox at the top of the screen. When it is marked, the view will change so only inactive shops will be displayed.
Shop information can be filtered in the following ways:
- By selecting a dealer number from the Dealer list at the top of the screen: all shops associated with the selected dealer will be shown:
- By entering data to filter at the column headings in the table. All of the columns in the table can be filtered in this way. More than one filter can be entered in the column headings to better refine the search.
Both filtering options can be used at the same time.
...
