Elevate user rights request is used for Ympact to request YMXXITS1 access to have command line access and to operate in Ympact (Branch specific) Production environment.

Step-by-step guide

  1. If a SD-ticket has status 'In Progress'   Req. Elevated user rights can be requested  by selecting this option via the Workflow button.
  2.  A new authorization request ticket is created (linked as 'implements' to the original user ticket).
  3. The assignee opens this ticket and changes the subject to the correct branch and enters a reason for access in the description field
  4. Select Req. Authorizations via the Workflow button.


  5. This request is published on the Teamlead / Department Manager project management board for approval, status changes to Awaiting authorization.


  6. Once approved, Status changes to Awaiting execution and Team Yamaha: team#INFRA-AS400 is added.  The ticket is moved to the AS400-Infra  dashboard to grant the access and inform the assignee. 

  7. After access is granted Infra-AS400 support closes the ticket.
    That concludes the process, the ticket is closed, password is provided and the assignee can continue.
