During your visit to Yamaha Motor Europe NV buildings at Schiphol-Rijk, you are kindly requested to adhere to the below mentioned house- and safety regulations:
General house regulations:
- The statutory traffic rules are applicable at the Yamaha premises.
- Park your vehicle in the appropriate parking spaces.
- After registration at the reception, you will receive an entrance badge which should always be worn clearly visible. Visitors to the warehouse will also receive a yellow safety vest which should be worn at all times.
- Accessing the building without company of a Yamaha employee is not permitted, unless otherwise indicated by Yamaha.
- After your visit you must return the entrance badge and your safety vest to the reception.
- Smoking is not allowed in the Yamaha buildings, there are smoking areas outside.
- Usage of safety shoes in the service center is mandatory, unless accompanied by a Yamaha employee.
- Within Yamaha motor Europe N.V. it is not allowed to work alone in one of the buildings. This means that when you are working late or during weekends there should always be somebody to accompany you. If this is not the case, Yamaha motor Europe N.V. will deny access to our building. During working days our security company will open and close the building. They will do a closing round to check that everyone has left the building.
House- and safety regulations for sub-contractors:
When you are at Yamaha for work activities, in addition to the above, the following additional house- and safety regulations apply:
- Consumption of food and drinks, as well as the use of portable audio-equipment, is not allowed in the Yamaha buildings, except in the designated areas (restaurant, canteen).
- Payment in the restaurants can only be done by a PIN payment.
- On request it is possible to utilize the loading facilities of Yamaha. This service is supplied on "best effort "bases and subject to availability. Yamaha is not responsible for any damages. If you require this service, please arrange via your contact person.
- Parking in the loading dock and/or in the building is not allowed.
- Always wear the correct personal protection gear/clothing and work according to the labor/safety regulations as laid down in the Dutch Labor act. (Arbo).
- The sub-contractor is obliged to provide the necessary Personnel Protection Equipment to his/her employees.
- Tools, materials and equipment need to be in compliance with the (Dutch) Labor regulations; they have to be within the periodically inspection period. Yamaha does not have tools, climbing materials and/or other work materials/equipment available for sub-contractors.
- Usage of safety shoes in the warehouse is mandatory.
- Welding-/grinding and other open fire activities are not permitted, unless a written work permit has been issued by Yamaha. This can be obtained at the Reception.
- After the working activities, you are obliged to clean and tidy up the working area.
- You are obliged to register a work order at the reception after your working activities.
In case of emergency:
You need to follow instructions in case of an emergency:
- Please contact the Yamaha alarm number 020-654 6555
- In the event of an evacuation a "slow whoop" alarm will sound. Leave the building through the fastest way indicated at the escape signs.
- Follow the instructions of the BHV (Safety) team.
