There are two ways to stay connected to your team's work in Jira while you're out and about - the Jira Data Center and Server mobile app for iOS and Android, or via your device's browser.

Jira Data Center Mobile Application

Stay connected to your team's work with the Jira mobile app. No matter whether you have an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet, we've got you covered when you're away from your desk. 

Download the Jira Data Center app for Android from Play Store or IOS from App Store.

When first opening the app, you will be prompted to enter your site URL.

You will then be redirected to authentication page to log in to your account.

Here’s what you’ll get, and what you can do in the app.

  • Manage projects -  search and brows projects and boards, view details about issues
  • Collaborate on the go - create issues and add comments.
  • Keep the work moving  -  track ongoing work in your boards and transition issues through statuses to get the work done
  • Get back to your work fast  - use your favorite filters
  • Stay up-to-date with push notifications
  • Open links directly in the app 


Limitations and known issues

  • Dashboards, roadmaps, and plugins may be limited or unavailable in the mobile app.

Use Jira via your mobile browser

When you view a Jira page on a mobile device, such as an iPhone or an Android phone, Jira will display an optimized version of the page. Jira chooses the mobile or desktop interface based on your device.

The Jira mobile interface is designed for viewing and interacting with issues on the go. If you need full access to Jira, you can always switch to the Jira desktop interface via the mobile menu.

Supported mobile browsers: Chrome (latest stable version) and Safari on iOS only (latest stable version).

The URL for the production Jira environment is: support.yamnet.com

Jira  chooses the mobile or desktop interface based on your device, but you can still switch to the desktop site on your mobile by choosing menu  then choosing Switch to desktop version.

The Jira mobile interface has been designed to give users quick access to their issues on the go. This includes;

  • Viewing issues, comments, attachments, issue links and your favorite filters.
  • Performing basic operations like adding comments, watching or voting on issues and assigning issues to users.

If you need to create or modify issues on the go, you can still do so by switching to the desktop interface via the mobile menu


Jira Customer Portal Mobile

The Jira customer portal can only be reached via your device's browser.
Supported mobile browsers: Chrome (latest stable version) and Safari on iOS only (latest stable version).
