This guide is for Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. Sucursal en España. It includes a instruction how to submit a request (form) for YMES.
Incluye instrucciones sobre cómo enviar una solicitud (formulario) para YMES.
Es necesario iniciar sesión en el portal de soporte de Yamaha para enviar nuestra solicitud. YMES Support Portal
Click on the relevant department and then on the customer type to open the request formHaz clic en el departamento correspondiente y luego en el tipo de asunto para abrir el formulario de solicitud.

Per department different request forms are available.
An explanation of the fields for all request forms can be found below the screenshots.
* = Required field, need to be filled for completing the form.
Raise a request on behalf of *By default your own name/email address is set, meaning you will be the reporter of the ticket.
If you want to raise a ticket on behalf of a colleague please change the requester by using the arrow and start typing the name of your colleague and select your colleagues name/ email address.
Summary *
Add a summarized title for your request in this field.
Dealer
Enter the dealer number where this request is about.
Description
Add your request in the Description field
Attachment
Add a attachment by simply drag and drop, copy/paste a file or screenshot into the ticket form or use the browse functionality to select a file on your computer.
Requested Participants
Use the Search bar to add participants/ stakeholders.
Participants of a ticket will receive the same notifications as the reporter and can turn off notifications at any time in their own portal settings.
Create / Cancel
After filling in the form use the or button
To submit your request select the Create button
To cancel your request select the Cancel button, the form will not be saved.
After Pressing the Create button. The ticket will be created and a screen will pop up with all summarized details of your ticket.

Agrega un archivo adjunto simplemente arrastrando y soltando, copiando y pegando un archivo o una captura de pantalla en el formulario del ticket o usa la función de exploración para seleccionar un archivo en su ordenador.Participantes solicitados
Utiliza la barra de búsqueda para agregar participantes/partes interesadas.
Los participantes de un ticket recibirán las mismas notificaciones que el propietario y pueden desactivar las notificaciones en cualquier momento en la configuración de su propio portal.Crear / Cancelar
Después de rellenar el formulario, usa el botón Crear o Cancelar .
Para enviar la solicitud selecciona el botón Crear.
Para cancelar su solicitud, seleccione el botón Cancelar, el formulario no se guardará.- Después de presionar el botón Crear. Se creará el ticket y aparecerá una pantalla con todos los detalles resumidos del ticket.
- Se enviará un correo electrónico al propietario y participantes solicitados como confirmación y comunicación futura.
Aprobación de solicitud
Es posible que se le solicite que apruebes una solicitud si se te ha asignado el rol de "aprobador". Cuando esto suceda, recibirás un correo electrónico que te notificará que se necesita tu aprobación.
Cómo aprobar y rechazar desde el portal del cliente
Navega por el portal seleccionando el ticket, a través del link del correo electrónico o introduciendo la URL directamente en el navegador.
Revisa la solicitud de aprobación y la información de respaldo.
Añade un comentario seleccionando Agregar debajo del campo de comentarios.
Dependiendo de la configuración en el flujo de trabajo del proyecto, su comentario puede o no ser necesario. Incluso si no es obligatorio, es útil que el cliente conozca el motivo, especialmente si estás rechazando la solicitud.- Selecciona Aprobar o Rechazar. Si se requiere un comentario, deberás proporcionarlo en los cuadros de diálogo Aprobar esta solicitud o Rechazar esta solicitud.
Nota: Ten en cuenta que aunque hayas agregado un comentario a la solicitud, deberás ingresar otro para continuar el proceso. - El propietario recibirá una notificación de la acción seleccionada que ha decidido.
- Sección de aprobaciones, enumera los aprobadores designados para la solicitud.
- Cuando se aprueba una solicitud, la sección Aprobaciones desaparece y los detalles sobre la aprobación se agregan a la sección Actividad.
Por ejemplo, su solicitud fue APROBADA y el estado cambió a Esperando asistencia.
Cómo aprobar y rechazar a través del correo electrónico
- Abre la solicitud de aprobación y decide qué acción te gustaría tomar.
- Seleccione el botón Aprobar o Rechazar dentro del correo electrónico. Si no ha iniciado sesión en el portal del cliente, te pedirá que lo hagas. Entonces verás:
- Si presionas Aprobar, aparecerá una pantalla de confirmación.
- Si presionas Rechazar, aparecerá una pantalla que le pedirá que deje un comentario y confirme su decisión. Dependiendo de la configuración en el flujo de trabajo del proyecto, su comentario puede o no ser requerido.
Aunque no es obligatorio, es útil saber el motivo por el qué se rechaza la solicitud.
- El propietario recibirá una notificación de la acción seleccionada que se ha decidido.
- Botones de aprobación, permiten al aprobador realizar solicitudes desde su correo electrónico.
- Detalles de la solicitud, muestra los detalles completos de una solicitud (incluido el tipo de solicitud, el asunto, la fecha de creación y los mismos campos elegidos en la configuración del tipo de solicitud
Service request approval
You may be asked to approve a service request if you've been assigned the role of "approver". When this happens, you'll receive an email notifying you that your approval is required.
How to approve and decline from the customer portal
- Navigate to the service desk customer portal by either selecting the link in your email, or entering the URL.
- View the approval request and review the supporting information.
- Leave a comment by selecting Add below the comment field.
Depending on the settings in the project’s workflow, your comment may or may not be required. Even if it’s not required, it helps to let the customer know why you responded the way you did, especially if you’re declining the request. - Select Approve or Decline. If a comment is required, you will need to provide a comment in the Approve this request or Decline this request dialogs.
Note that even if you’ve already added a comment to the request, you'll still need to enter a comment to proceed. - The customer will receive a notification of the selected action you have taken.
- Approvals section, which lists the appointed approvers for the request. This section only appears when there are pending approvals for the request.
- When a request is approved, the Approvals section disappears, and details about the approval will be added to the Activity section.
For example, Your request was APPROVED and the status changed to Waiting for support.
How to approve and decline from email
- View the approval request and decide what action you'd like to take.
- Select either the Approve or Decline button within the email. If you aren't logged into the customer portal, you will be prompted to do so. You'll then see:
- If you hit Approve, a confirmation screen.
- If you hit Decline, a screen prompting you to leave a comment and confirm your decision. Depending on the settings in the project’s workflow, your comment may or may not be required.
Even if it’s not required, it helps to let the customer know why you’re declining the request.
- The customer will receive a notification of the selected action you have taken.
- Approval buttons, that let the approver action requests from within their email.
- Request details, that show the full details of a request (including request type, summary, creation date, and the same fields chosen in the request type settings).
